STAND-UP PADDLEBOARDING EXPERIENCE

A Unique Experience Enjoyable For All Levels

If you have a bit of paddleboarding experience and you’re looking for an active ocean adventure, our guided flatwater paddleboarding tour is a suitable fit. In this private paddleboarding experience, you’ll enjoy views of mountains meeting the sea. You’ll also have the unique opportunity encounter some of our local sea and bird life including beautiful kelp forests, seals, sunfish and dolphins, if you’re lucky.

You don’t need to be an expert as we use large, stable boards and our guides can give you tips to improve your technique along the way. To really get the most from this unique experience, a moderate level of fitness and paddleboarding ability is recommended. If you have never paddleboarded before, and you would like to grasp the basics, we can tailor this experience to cater for your/your group’s needs. Since this is available as a private option only, we can offer you an introductory lesson in the shallows and paddle across the bay closer to the shore.

Went on an early morning SUP session. Perfect guide to teach you all the tricks of the trade! Observed the sea life and relaxed on the calm waters whilst having the beautiful sight of the Twelve Apostles and the side of table mountain as a backdrop view! Absolutely stunning!! Thanks!!

We went on a guided SUP (stand-up paddle) adventure in Camps Bay with the Stoked team and it was excellent. As first timers we got a chance to get comfortable in the tidal pool then hit the ocean. Incredible views and such a great activity!

IS THIS SUITABLE IF I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE AT ALL?

As this is only bookable as a private experience, we can tailor it to your specific skill level. It may result in us paddling closer to shore or at a tidal pool, but the enjoyment factor would be just the same.

ARE THERE AGE RESTRICTIONS FOR THIS EXPERIENCE?

The minimum age is 9 years old and you’re never too old to try something new.

DO WE NEED TO WEAR A WETSUIT?

We advise wearing a wetsuit during the winter months and during the summer months, you can opt to wear a wetsuit or simply a rash vest for sun protection.

We do recommend it if you haven’t had much experience as you may fall off a few times along the way.

DO WE NEED OUR OWN GEAR?

We will provide you with a wetsuit, flotation vest, stand up paddleboard and paddle to use. You are welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer, however this will not change the pricing.
